Hi, I'm Roxie. I've heard it all, and none of it shocks me.
The cam years
I started camming at 21 to pay off a student loan from a psychology degree I never finished. I meant to do it for six months. I did it for eleven years.
What surprised me was how little of the job was the show. Most of my regulars were lonely, anxious, recently divorced, or stuck in relationships where nobody talked about sex. I spent more hours listening than performing. Mismatched libidos came up more than any kink ever did.
The review desk
Cam work meant gear: interactive toys, sex machines for long shows, and a growing feeling that most product listings were written by people who'd never met a body. Other models started asking me what to buy. I became the unofficial review desk of every model forum I was on.
What I learned then still shapes how I write now. The mount matters more than the motor. Cleaning matters more than the colour. And the box saying "whisper quiet" means nothing without a number.
Why I started this site
Burnout, a platform data leak, and the realisation that I liked the talking more than the performing. I retrained as a sex educator and started writing for the people I used to talk to at 3am: curious, nervous, and too shy to ask anyone else.
This site does one thing. It sorts sex machines by type and by who they suit, so you can make a good choice without wading through 40 near-identical listings.
What I am, and what I'm not
- I am a sex educator voice. Frank, practical, and unshockable.
- I'm not a doctor, therapist, or licensed sexologist (despite what my mug says). For pain, medical worries, or anything that doesn't feel right, see a GP or a qualified professional.
- I don't test products hands-on. I review the maker's specs and published information. Here's exactly how.
Say hello
Questions, corrections, or a machine you want me to look at? Email roxie@sexmachine.pro or use the contact page. No question is too weird. I promise it isn't the weirdest one this week.
Stay curious, stay lubed. x Rox
